If no surprise, I am pretty close to get my 132s and need some input from you. 1. What is the tire brand/style on your oem 19s? 2. What is your Front and Rear tire pressure? 3. How is the ride? 4. Is it durable and what is your driving habit? 5. Where did you get the tires? EDIT: Any tire shop referral for mounting and balancing in Sacramento area? Thanks in adv. 1. What is the tire brand/style on your oem 19s? Michelin Diamaris - I only run the 19s in the summer
2. What is your Front and Rear tire pressure? 32# all around 3. How is the ride? - Stiffer than the 18s. Ride is better on 18s, handling is better on 19s 4. Is it durable and what is your driving habit? Hard, spirited...CmyX5go, get the idea...My 19s love exit and entrance ramps. 5. Where did you get the tires? My tire vendor Try tirerack.com

1. What is the tire brand/style on your oem 19s? Bridgestone Turanzo ER30 (OE tires)
2. What is your Front and Rear tire pressure? 32/32 3. How is the ride? Like on rails though pretty stiff. Great for the driver, not so great for the passengers. 4. Is it durable and what is your driving habit? Rear tire inside edge wear is pretty significant due to the camber. You'll most likely need to change the rear's one extra time before having to change the fronts. Driving style depends on if I have passengers. 5. Where did you get the tires? tirerack. |

I agree 100% with CMYX5GO
I run a 17" winter snow setup and have to remember they are only good up to 99mph

All tires have speed ratings. there is some safety factor, but it is the range the tire companies say their tires will not fail due to speed. My snow tires(Blizzak & pirelli scorpion snow&ice) are only rated to 99mph. The Michelin Diamaris are rated for 150mph. Ever notice some highspeed car chases show tire failure (excluding police spike strips), usually on some compact. Know your safety limits.
check your tire pressure regularly - running under inflated has a higher likelyhood of blowout than overinflated and decreases mileage.

1. What is the tire brand/style on your oem 19s? Michelin Diamaris summer only in winter 18" Pirelli Scorpions
2. What is your Front and Rear tire pressure? 32 all around 3. How is the ride? Stiff - my wintersw give a softer ride - but I ordered the sport pack because with my driving style it is safer 4. Is it durable and what is your driving habit? have not had to replace - but I put more summer miles on my Z4. Driving habits - mix of commute and long highway - opportunity to enjoy the car it is a great ride at 75-90 mph over that I would like to keep my licence - 130 plus is reserved for when I have a police officer riding shotgun. The Diamaris are very good, in really tight cornering the Z4 (3.0 sport pack) only beats the X5 by 5 mph. 5. Where did you get the tires? n/a

BP, I answered some stuff in our PMs back & forth,
but here's my official post: 1. What is the tire brand/style on your oem 19s? Bridgestone Turanza 2. What is your Front and Rear tire pressure? 32/32 normal; 33/35 for loaded trips. 3. How is the ride? Nice; a little "tight" with the sport, but I like it. 4. Is it durable and what is your driving habit? I bought the wheel/tire set from a member here; they had 5K miles. They now have 10K ish...they are wearing much more rapidly than the orig. 18" Micheys, but I expected that. 5. Where did you get the tires? Came oem with the wheels; bought from orig. owner. BP: let's see some pics when you get them on. You will love'em! BR,mD
