Would this work for a winter setup?

Four replica 4.6is wheels, 20"x9.5" ET 45, with 275/40/20 Pirelli Scorpion Ice/Snow's? Then just put in 15mm spacers on the rears to get them out?

Yes, I'm aware about going to 18" wheels/tires, but this isn't an option right now

it probably can work for very little snow, but i don't anybody would recommend that under medium or heavy snow use.

those scorpion's should handle snow very well due to the tread compound. Now the lower profile might make it more jarring, but hey they'll look good. Normally I'd go an 18" but I'm doing a trade and this is the option I have.

I was more looking for advice on the 9.5" and ET offset with spacer comment if anyone knows about that. I'm thinking that the rears would need a 15mm spacer to kick it out? I want to stay with the 275 skinnier tires vs going with a 315 in back = bad for snow.

That is what my friend runs on his 4.8is here in Denver with no problems. He doesn't have the spacers, though.

any pics? I don't know what size of spacers to get, but I'm assuming that I just need the 9.5's to get to the same offset as the 10.5's and I'd be good. So that's 15mm I think?

I have that setup with 30mm spacers. It still doesn't fill out the wheel well, but it is way better than not having them. I used this set up in 10" of snow and worked like a charm.

wow, that's a lot of spacer. If you have any pics, it'd be greatly appreciated. I just picked up an '06 4.8is yesterday and am loving it!!

I don't have any pictures of his 4.8is but it looks way better than my 18inch setup for winter.
