Differences between '01 and '05 4.4

What all is different between the 01 4.4 and the 05 4.4 models. My list includes: angel eye headlights, clear side and rear turn signals, wheels, panoramic roof and valvetronic engine with more hp and mpg, and the cd player plays mp3's. Am I missing anything?

One very important feature called XDrive....Better handling, traction and driving control in all kinds of road conditions.

6 speed tranny versus the 5 speed on pre-04's, face lifted front end (different hood, grill, bumper cover, fenders), some different interior and exterior colors.

If you have navigation then the 01 has the CD-based nav drive (MkIII) and the 05 will have the DVD based nav drive (MkIV). Also, if the 01 was built before April 2001 then it would have the 4:3 screen instead of the newer 16:9 screen.

Also the 01 didn't have adjustable ride height, automatic headlights, wasn't Siruis ready and wan't AUX capable.

I'm sure there's a few more I'm missing, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

Man, that sure makes me and my 2001 4.4 X5 and 4:3 screen feel pretty inadequate.

just for side by side comparison, what was the sales price on the 01 4.4 versus the 05 4.4?

you guys mind stating your sales price? i'm talking pre-TT&L. (since taxes etc will vary state to state).

adaptive headlights is a big one (not that I would know anything about that subject or anything

A couple of other differences are that '05's also have electric folding side mirrors, different steering wheel, black anthracite wood trim is available, homelink/sos/gps, and tire pressure monitors
