I would say yes!! "Warranty Direct" seem to be top of the list, you can check them out on line, and also call them to receive an information brochure. They do a few different levels of warranty. Give them a call they are good, I had a gold policy on a Lotus Esprit I owned and had no problems with them when a problem came up.

Can you share who you have your warranty extension with? My 01 X5 3.0 had Mercury Insurnace for a 3rd party warranty extension, and they wouldn't fix any CV boots or shafts that were broken or torn. Dealer cringed every time they needed to call for warranty auth. My 04 M3 is coming up to it's 50K day, and I want to get something worthwhile.

Its always good to have one considering the mileage. I'm not sure if they'll give you one though if you mispell "Warranty" again LOL.

Unless you have the time, tools, and facilities to maintain one of these cars, you should get a warranty. It will break. It is just a matter of what and when.
