faulty drivers side window

hi all,
I have a problem with drivers side window, where if it goes all the way down it gets stuck and won't come back up. If it goes upto 3/4 of the way down no probs, but any lower it will make a loud clunck on the way up. I have taken door trim off and had a look but can't seem to see the problem. has anyone had similar probs? any help would be appreciated
thanks
