Thumbs up Winter Drive Report: Dunlop M2s

Hi All,
Well Long Island finally got some snow and ice today!
Got out in my 03 4.4 sport with the new (used) 18" Dunlop M2s from Drew today.
The ride quality is better IMHO. I think the Diamaris were too hard for the potholed streets around here. Great on the highway for long summer trips though.
Thanks alot Drew!
To anyone who is on the fence, get the snow tires! The Diamaris SUCK in the snow! I struggled all last year.
Now the X feels sure footed and it takes alot more for the ABS to kick in.
It does feel like a heavier car now in turns on ice.
Once you get a little side slip, just add some gas and it'll pull right out of it!
Too bad my little girl is home sick or I'd be carving up the streets all day!
I can only wonder how much better the later (post 2003) X drive would be. Maybe less side slip?
Enjoy and Happy Valentine's Day,
Mike

ps: also a FS feeler for the stock 19" staggered (255/285 michelin diamaris) Y spoke wheels with almost new front rubber (maybe 3000k mi) and 6/32 rear rubber. I would love to stay with 18s all year round. e-mail me! [email protected]
