the PDC in my x5 no longer works. When i back up...it makes a 3 second beep sound and then the light on the pdc button just flashes. Did I accidentally turned it off or something? anyone have an answer to this annoying problem? Thanks in advance Mair |

maybe one of your sensors got disconnected or busted
check each one, turn pdc on first, then put your ear next to each one and your hand in the way, you should hear it buzz if it works, then go from there |

You'll need to pop the sensor out of the bumper and make sure the connector is securely fastened to the PDC sensor. If not, then you'll need a multimeter to check the wiring for continuity between the sensors.

The PDC uses multiple circuts...is there anything else in the car that is not working?
