Unhappy I think I'm going to be leaving you guys : (

As sad as it is to say I think I am going to be selling my 02 X5 for an 04 Range Rover. I know most people here think they suck, but after driving my friends I think I would be happier with one of those.

awww...think of the operational and maintenance costs

please reconsider

if a range rover makes you happy, you'll be glad that the X5 and range rover share components

Oh god don't do it! My family has had three old style Range Rovers and one new (not the most recent style but the style before it) one. The "new" one has a V8 Bimmer engine from a 7 series and drives amazingly. But it's still a tank! I would never give my X5 up for a Range, unless it's purpose is mostly a family trip/outing type car....in which case go for it!

Whatever makes you happy dude. Hate to see you go though. I would ask for an extended test drive if you can. I'll bet you change your mind.

Range rovers are nice, they are almost the same as an x5. They have the same gps system same motor. Just a different body

have fun with your range rover!!

I have both vehicles and I've had no isssues with my 04' RR (purchased new 6/04). The engine, NAV, rear hatch are all the same design as an X5. It's just a different vehicle than the X, but a great ride.
