What factory wheels are available?

I'm new to the X5, just bought an 02 3.0....... What wheels does everyone have?

I'm wanting to focus on factory BMW wheels only. If you post a pic, can you post the name and sizes of the wheels, and if possible what year and model they were standard on?

I'm most interested in 18's or 19's that have the wider sizes on for the rear.

Also if you know of any sources & pricing that would be helpful as well. I'm hoping to find some to my liking that are dealer take offs that I can purchase as a set with tires, but I need to know what I'm looking for when I start calling the local dealers.

There are literally hundreds of threads in the X5world archives discussing OEM vs. replicas, as well as pictures of installed wheels. Do a search an OEM wheels or replica wheels.

If you are dead set on buying BWM OEM wheels, pick up a copy of Roundel or Bimmer magazine - both magazines have advertisements from BMW dealers with their latest specials on parts. It isn't uncommon to find dealers selling new OEM wheels for up to 25% off. But be prepared for sticker shock - the MSRP on OEM wheels is steep, hence the choice of many enthusiasts to buy replicas. Even at a discount, it could get expensive.

Used BMW OEM wheels is an alternative. There are various sources where you can occasionally find OEM rims - X5world BMW SAV Items for Sale forum, eBay, Craigslist, Bimmerfest, Roadfly, etc.

Good luck with your search.

Sterling, as they all said,
lots of threads/info/opins here on wheels; use the search.
And, a link showing wheels avail. with size, tire size rec'd,
offset, etc.:
http://felgenkatalog.auto-treff.com/

click the drop down box, upper left, on X5 and boom!
"Auswahl anzeigen: Baureihe: Alle X5 E53"

You have a page of wheels made for X5. Click on a specific
wheel pic and it shows you a big pic of that wheel and
all the stats for that wheel.

GL,mD

PS: Any of those listed X5 wheels will fit on your X5...

My 2003 3.0 has style 57. The 2002 should have the same, I'm guessing..

I searched a number of threads, and I was not able to find what I was looking for. I saw a number of threads regarding pics with the wheels on the vehicles, without reference to the type or sizes. That is what I'm looking for. I've found the thread that shows all of the types available but I would like to see the different types on the X5. I am only interested in the wheels that come with the wider sizes for the rear, and so far I have not found any thread that listed the wheels and their widths. If there are threads like this I would appreciate someone pointing them out to me. Some of the wheels look very similar, and that is why I would like the other members to post some pics along with the type and the sizes....
