Anyone near Las Vegas willing to do a paddle shift install?
I would really like to have the SMG paddle shift steering wheel on my X5 but want it done right. I live in Utah but am in Las Vegas often. Anyone around either area that would be willing to perform this install correctly I would really appreciate it.

Seriously, it's not that hard. The hardest part is getting the steering column cover back on. Take it one step at a time and almost anyone can do it. I was so hesitant to try this myself. Ask Vince at Mr Paddleshift...we went back and forth on this and I just decided to to tackle it myself....2 hours and it was done!

The only custom part of the kit is the wiring down to the shifter from the steering column. I bought the entire kit from Mr Paddleshift including the wheel. The price was way better then buying it directly from BMW. There are a few sites that discuss making the cable yourself...sorry don't have them handy. It can't be that difficult, but I say that after seeing a professional job from Vince.
