4.4i - 4.6is instrument cluster
I've transformed my 4.4is 2003 into the 4.6is look from the outside and it looks great :thumbup: all except for the tail pipes, i like the black tips look more, butttttt.... When I started with the interior and specifically the 4.6is instrument cluster, everything worked well except for the mileage indicator, i can not seem to get my original mileage to display, it only displays the mileage of the "donor's" 4.6is and there is a small red dot that appeared!!! Can anyone help :dunno: ? Yanal

The 4.6is cluster must be reprogrammed by the dealer. The red dot indicates that the cluster is not original and the mileage inaccurate.

it can not be re-coded by the dealer. you have to live with the red dot for ever. a used instrument cluster is not codable.
