They are standard with the sport package.

If you are a handyman you will be able to mount them in say 3-4 hours.

And then you have to learn a new technic to get out of the car!!

Try it before you buy - but they look very cool!

Maybe running boards are standard with the sport package in Europe but not in the US.
The link you posted are for aftermarket running boards - they bolt on to the existing running boards as opposed to the OEM which replace the existing boards.

may want to check the board

You should check the board someone was arranging a group buy, with and without "X5" engraved.
