Facelifted rear lights on pre-facelifted

Hi everyone! I am thinking of buying a pair of facelifted rear light (including a pair of rear lights in the trunk lid) to install onto my pre-faceliftd X5. Does anyone know if there is any difference between facelifted rear lights and pre-facelifted rear lights? Are they exactly same? Thanks!

almost the same (besides the cluster's light/reflector design). there's the addition of the adaptive brake light feature that was made available in the 2002 model year...

The only difference (anyone can note if installed himself) is:
the connector and bulb above him are a bit closer to each other, means holes at body (for the bulb and connector) have to be adjusted by file...anyway may be it's only for my X 2000...
