i mounted mine in the headrests.

cost: $400/headrest (the cost of the monitors). jeff and I (he watched and provided emotional support, i cut into the headrest) did it.

it rocked.

Drex, Which headrest monitors you used? Agree, you do need emotional support to cut the headrest.

Sony XVMH65 6.5 in Monitor


pulled my receipt. I paid $350 each at abt in chicago. (have a connection there).

matches the titanium trim perfectly.

Hey Drex...how did you get the picture to show up on the NAV..did u split the wires to the DVD player?? or do we have to purchases something separate..i was thinking of mounting a 17inch in the middle of my 2002 x5 and keep the nav...and maybe install the 2 head rests.

monitors have two video ins and video outs (and corresponding audio) a piece


the DVD unit (kenwood) has two video outs; these also can be split with a y cable if needed.

what i love about these monitors:

1) built in RF transmitter for sony headphones
2) each has independent video switcher (A vs B)
3) each has own remote (IR)
