I had about 15-17 on the 2003 3.0i X5. Not too good.
My E70 dosen't have enough miles to give a number that's accurate.

Yer going to get worse mileage in the winter in anything you drive. Everything is colder, more resistance in the diffys cuz the oil is thicker (even synthetic), more resistance in your bearing grease, etc, it all adds up to more gas burned.
I get 17-20 on the hwy and as low as 13-14 around town in my 4.4l. Problem is, these things are sooooo much fun at full throttle...

I just got back from a 600 mile trip with 2k miles since resetting the OBC (starting at 14.3 mpg) and averaged 17.8 mpg in my 4.8
