Average Mpg

My 06 4.4 SPORT MPG average is 14.3 after 10000 miles. Seems kind of low. But I drive it for the most part in sport enthusiastic way anyway.
What does everyone else have?

I had about 15-17 on the 2003 3.0i X5. Not too good.
My E70 dosen't have enough miles to give a number that's accurate.

Yer going to get worse mileage in the winter in anything you drive. Everything is colder, more resistance in the diffys cuz the oil is thicker (even synthetic), more resistance in your bearing grease, etc, it all adds up to more gas burned.
I get 17-20 on the hwy and as low as 13-14 around town in my 4.4l.

Problem is, these things are sooooo much fun at full throttle...

Don't forget that the winter batter mix of gas doesn't help either.
