Andrew Campbell-Laing is on a distinguished road
inking of putting Homelink in my X5, is this a good choice

Homelink for Sept 2003 X5 3.0i Sport
I am thinking of putting homelink in to work my garage door, I have seen this link on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-E39-E46-E38-E53-M5-X5-540-M3-HOMELINK-TRANSMITTER_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ50459QQihZ0 13QQitemZ230085481371QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWD2V

But I am not sure what the correct part number would be. Speaking to the local stealer they say for retrofit I need a new mirror that has homelink on it. But I prefer the overhead fitting this offers.

My question is does anyone know the correct part no I need, and will the cables be in the overhead console already?

cheers
Andrew
