X5 Height is weird!!

Hi there everyone. I wanted to post this to see if anyone knew why this was happening. I have a 4.4i that has the aero kit and the 20" 4.8is wheels. I believe the tires are 265/40/20 in front and 315/35/20 in rear. I noticed the other day that it seemed like the X5 was higher in the front that it was in the rear. It didn't seem level to me. I measured the distance from the ground to the fender and from the ground to the quarter panel. It is 1" higher in the front than it is in the rear. There is a bigger gap in the front than the rear.

Any idea why this is and if I can fix it? I hate seeing it higher in the front than in the back.

Thanks in advance.

did you measure it with the car on or off? if off, then maybe the rear air suspension is deflated, accounting for the difference in height? if you're under warranty, take it to the dealer and have them check it out.

The car still has about a year of warranty so I will take a look. I don't remember if I checked it with the car on or off. I will check it tonight with the car on to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks.
