Unhappy unbalance rear bumper

Hello~ I need help on the rear bumper~ after installing the oem hitch from bmw, my rear bumper is tilted to one side, the slit from the bumper and the lower part of the back door is uneven~ I am so frustrated right now, I try to take off the bumper 3 times(with remus exhaust) those of you who install it would know how long it take to remove the rear bumper~ did everyone have the same probleM? or is it just me??? sigh~

From the sound of your post, you did not install the hitch yourself so you didn't take the bumper off yourself. See this link, page 13 for instructions on how to remove your rear bumper. You need to remove the rear bumper and completely reinstall the bumper so that both sides line up on the ledges on either side. It helps to have two people. It's not that difficult with some help.

Good luck.
