Guesses on Brake Noise Problem

I am kind of stomped on this brake noise. It makes kind of a scraping noise when braking, kind of like when the brake pads are worn. But I have at least 3/16" left on all the brake pads. The noise stays there upon slow acceleration, then goes away. What can it be? Anyone venture to guess?

I was thinking maybe a sticky caliper not releasing? But then why would it make noise when braking? Don't know.

If your in the east bay why not go by San Leandro Auto. Dave is good for checking up on stuff like that. I'm headed there tomorrow for some sort of clunking in the left front suspension. He's a factory trained BMW Mech.

Nope I don't own any interest in the shop. It's where i go when I need work done and i don't want to go to the dealer.
