Chrome gauge rings install - void warranty
I have an '05 X5 with 28K miles (still under the basic warranty). I am thinking about installing the chrome (Alum) rings to my gauge cluster. However, will this void my warranty? Just my electrical warranty or just the warranty on the gauge cluster? Thanks for any infomation that any one can provide.......Jimmy |

This is one of those "your mileage may vary" situations, depending on how nice or how big of an a$$ your dealer wants to be with you. At the most it could void the warranty on the guage cluster.

That's fine about possibly losing the warranty on the gauge cluster only. Thanks for your information.

:xoutpost:![]() there haven't been problems with the cluster other than the dead pixel problem, and BMW will still exchange it if you have that problem
