Valve cover gasket 3.0 walk through

So I just did this job, and I couldn't find the specifics about how to get this done, so I thought I might do it myself. If I missed it and there is an existing walkthrough, let me know.

Essentially, I talked to my BMW tech buddy and he said on average this is a $700 job. I said "f' that." Parts were $80 2nd day air, and it only took a couple hours worth of work.

There are a couple of things too look out for, but if someone has already covered this and I did not hit it with the right search terms, I would be glad to never speak of it again.

Yeah that's good.

But it doesn't mention the part about taking off the coils (plug change would be a good idea at that point) the tightening proceedure or anything else.

Is there a writeup or not; if not, do you want one?
