shipping costs

Anybody here sell or buy 20inch wheels with tires? I'm trying to figure out the best way to ship my 87s and I'm getting quotes of 160 bucks a wheel for 75lbs, ground shipping from denver to east coast. Is that average or rediculous? I have no idea since I've never done it. I would love for suggestions from people who have done it. Thanks.

I just shipped 4 19" wheels to NY from Seattle cost me $171.00 ground with FedEx for all 4. Two had tires (had to pay for oversized packages for those) two did not.

What's up with UPS, I will call Fedex. Thanks. Do you remember what the weight was per wheel?

I'd also just load them & drive to the UPS or FEDEX store cuz I just shipped 2 sets of 4 wheels in Dec. One set of 19's and of 18's with tires, each cost me about $220.

FedEx Ground will charge you about $55 / wheel to ship to a residence. Youo should also purchase insurance and a good quality box to put it in to protect the wheels. all said and done it will be about $250 to ship them properly.
