LED front turn signal bulbs
I installed sidemarker and rear LED turn signal bulbs I purchased from JLEVI last night. I DEFINITELY like the instant on and instant off flashing over the regular bulbs! Anyway, since I'll be working on installing my AE's this weekend, I will also install the front LED turn signal bulbs.
Since the rear LED turn signal bulbs are not on all the time and are only used intermittently (signaling to turn or using hazards, obviously), those resistors still turn HOT quite fast. My question: I'm just curious... Anybody else with a 2000-2003 X5 have any bulbs or resistors fail or overheat when installed on the FRONT LED turn signals- especially since the front turn signals/corner lights will be on and remain lit much longer when driving with headlights on? Depending on what experiences other X5 owners have with bulbs, I'm going to decide to use either the LED bulbs or chromed Stealth Bulbs. Any comments/feedback would be appreciated!
