false warning lights?
Hi Everyone,

I have an '01 X5 and I am starting to get false warning lights for license plate light, rear lights, and brake lights. Is this a sign of total electronic failure or is there a relay or something that is going bad? If anyone has any ideas I would be greatly appreciative.

Alll the light work fine.

Im pretty sure all of those systems have 2 bulbs. So, just becuase they might look like they are lit up the other bulb might be blown.

Do you have LED bulbs in them? If so, the bulbs will still work...it'll just trigger those false warning lights
