745 nav unit on x5??

Hi there guys. I was offered on 04' 745 nav unit (which I think is the MKIV) from a friend. I am not sure if this will connect right to my x5 and I wanted to ask you guys if this was possible before I had him ship it out to try it. He emailed me the following info form the bottom tag of the nav unit:

I was a bit thrown off by the "FRANCE" description...is this normal or is this a european unit. Any info you guys can provide would be great. Thanks a lot.

Won't work for the x5, that's not a MK4, it's a navi02.
