Uhh ohh - Dice Install - Airbag Light

I installed the HD Dice / Ipod Unit this weekend and took out my drivers seat, side panel, and driver side door trim to route the cables. I also ran the Dice antenna cable over the glovebox up the door, and partially (just the top 2 inches) remove the passenger side windshield pillar where the airbag lives to route the dice antenna cable.

Now I have an Airbag light on my console this morning. Any idea where I should look? Would popping that pillar off cause a code to fault or something?

Thanks!

-Brent

You should be fine as long as you connected everything back correctly. I am assuming you must have turned the key in the ignition at one point before plugging in the seat which may have caused this. The dealer should be able to reset the light.

Taking out the driver seat and disconnecting the cables W/OUT disconnecting the battery triggered the air bag light.

Just bring it to the dealer to have the air bag light reset.

Hey Mig, thanks for the quick response. This is exactly what I did. I'll have to have them reset it. Best Regards!
