Reaching 180K and...
Gent & Ladies,
Recently noticed that there is almost 180K (km) passed...and what I've noticed is the slightly hearable noise coming under hood...it was coming only when I turned on engine in the mornings (in cold condition)...this noice was continue for 1-2 minutes and disappear after...then this slight noise became permanent after in about 1 week (couldn't find time to visit my service center)...and I was suspecting WHAT IT IS...just bought the Belts (for water pump & for AC comp), few PULLEYS (numbers 2,3 & 17 on below pic.)...to change this all for X5 2000 is ok... So good news - after replacing above mentioned items this annoying noise dissappear!!! Bad news - noticed that my radiator start (at the first stage) penetrate the liquid , so need to plan another trip to service center for this...For everybody info...180K time to change the belts, pulleys and most probably to check the radiator...Good Luck to All! Thats my 2 cents...
