turbo x5

hey, I was wondering how difficult it would be to find a good turbo kit for an '02 x5 3.0. I know supercharging is really popular, but I prefer the turbocharger. Anyway, suggestions would be appreciated.

a turbo system for anything larger than a 4cl or unless its diesel is pointless. OEM systems are good bc of a crzy amount of r&d. If youre going with turbo, unless you spend a LOT of money on a twin turbo system, youre going to have to use big turbo to feed this kind of displacement. A big turbo= LOT of lag. Its just not worth going turbo for larger gas engines than 4cyl.

Thats a load of crap, so you obviously dont know anything about turbocharging

you'll need some expensive custom work done i dont think you'll find a kit of any sort, but it would be sweet. keep us posted with what info you find. a twin turbo setup would be best if your afraid of turbo lag.

This is a completely false statement. Most engines can benefit from turbocharging regardless of displacement size or number of cylinders. There are several things that make turbo charging more or less attractive, i.e. availability of kits, cost, efficeincy, tuning, space, etc., but engine size or number of cylinders is not one of them.

Twin or single doesnt nessesarily effect lag or not(it can some cases), it depends on the turbine size to differ spool charactoristics.
