X5 with BMW Nav 16:9 Monitor E46+CD Player
I was searching ebay for a 16:9 display to retrofit by X5 4:3 Nav screen and saw this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...sPageName=WDVW Does anyone know if this would fit inside and work with the X5? I would much rather have a cd player up front than a useless tape player. I know - I am probably dreaming.

No, it won't work in the X5. I had one of these when I was doing my 4:3 to 16:9 installation and I can tell with 100% certainty that it doesn't even close to having the proper fitament.

my 2002 330xi had a tape deck behind my navi..
but then again my friend wit a 2004 m3 has a cd behind his/.
