Just got back from the BMW Dealership.
1st. Took a drive and let him see what I was discussing about the raise in RPM's. He said it was normal. I put the car in 3rd gear at around 2000 RPM's and increased the throttle till the revs jump up(sounds like downshifting). He said that the ECU of the car "learns how I drive and its is increasing the fuel and air flow as there is a load and I increase the throttle demand. He also said if the torque converter was slipping, that i would have a "Trans Failsafe" warning appear. I will take a video clip of the cluster and you can hear a see the tach jump as I accelerate and see what I am talking about. I also spoke with the North America Service Rep today about the paint. They said it looks as if there was a silicone on the door sealer on the inside of the doors when it was painted and that its bubbling through. They offered to sand and repaint the inside of the doors as they have never seen this before. I told them to hold off for now but had them document the propblem and what they have offered to do. Now I will converse with my lawyer and see what options I have. I will keep you posted.
