Unhappy Headlight washer holes in bumper for 3.0 to 4.8 upgrade!!

body shop called and hit a snag with the 3.0 to 4.8 bumper upgrade.....says that the washer nozzles for the headlight washing system mount through the bumper, into the washer system itself. so if i don't have the washing system, what are my options? is there some type of dummy situation that works for this application? HELP.

I suppose one could mount washers in the holes and just not connect them...

so that is possible? i understand the nozzles won't be functional, but without seeing the bumper in person, i don't really know what to tell the body guy. it seems like the spray nozzles could be attatched in some way. just didn't know if there was a BMW solution, or if home depot ingenuity had to come into play. joke.

I'm sure they can be glued down somehow, I'm not sure how they're attached to the bumper--I've never taken mine off. I do know that if they're functional, they like to leak...my car looks like it's sad and crying from time to time. I have no idea how much they cost though...and I'd imagine they would have to be painted as well--mine are.

i am almost 100% positive that there are 'cut outs' or punch outs below the bumper.... to signify where the wash system goes.

it would be very easy to tap into your 'windshield' washer system and run another line to the front of the car for the bumper and headlights....

i'll need to look this up later on the EPC

Would the connections already be there? Like with PDC sensors?

found out that i'll need to spend another $130 or so on the underneath the bumper parts to affix the nozzles to the bumpers. would be great to learn how close i am to having them functional with this extra expense. any type of diagram/exploded view available for that area?
