Well I visit our X5 in the Intensive Care Unit

Well as many of you know our car suffered some extremely bad hail damage. So this weekend we took a trip to Magnum Auto body repair to see how our baby was doing. The good news is that they will not have to replace the roof. There is a guy there that is re-moving the dents on the roof with this special rod. (Circled in picture). They said that we really did not want to replace the roof since there is nothing like the factory welled. Sorry but I did forget to bring my camera so I had to make due with my Samsung camera phone. Our X5 is expected to make a full recovery and should be able to come home in 2 weeks.

Good to hear she's going to pull thru! When it's time to bring her home, I'm sure the 'rehab' (a nice, long drive on the way home) will do you and her good!

Like he said, a couple of days of re-hab and she will be back to normal.

Great to hear all is going well. It was actually really good that you didn't need to replace any body panels on your car. Apparently, because all BMWs are uni-body cars, if you ever have to replace any panels, it is considered frame damage, which will cause your car to depreciate drastically. Anyways, good luck with your X5 And send my regards!!!
