How do you remove the vinyl cover on the back of the front seat?

Mine is badly scratched up and I'd like to replace it. I've tried to pry it off, but it doesn't seem to budge and I don't want to break anything.

Has anyone ever removed it?

Mine has 2 plastic pins, located on the bottom of the seat back. I used cutters to cut the head off and slide the seat back down. I bought a bunch of the plastic pins from the dealer, they had them loose, but they are also available in a seat hardware kit. It is a pain in the butt, but not too bad.
