Speedo, tilt,telescopic not working
I replaced L rear wheel sensor, speed sensor on F right of transmission. No change. Re : tilt: thought it must be the motor in steering column. Got one out of same year, plugged into my steering plug in, nothing. Then connected it directly to 12v to check it, it works. So I thought, well it must be the switch! Got it from same vehicle, changed it, nothing. ? All fuses in glovebox are good. Any other ideas? Thank you |

Tilt/telescope controlled through the seat control board on the seat. If you can move the seat but memory doesn’t work you’ve found that problem.
Speedo gets the signal from left rear abs sensor but if that’s not working you will also have abs trifecta.

Thanks very much! I changed that seat control board on drivers seat. Then it was great to see the steering column move!
Thanks again for the accurate information! |

Wife's car was purchased with the same problem, fortunate the PO had already determined the repair needed and informed me (also fortunately he was correct). Now: speedometer?
