Problems with Angel Eyes and PDC/Hazard

Hi guys,

I am completely new to X5World, and thinks it's great. I have a question for anyone who knows their stuff. I just installed Predator Chromium Angel Eyes, per installation instructions to the tee, and now (only sometimes) have a problem when my lowbeams come on, either automatically or manually. When they come on, sometimes my hazard lights begin to go on and off, my doors unlock and the interior lights come on. What the hell is goign on? Anyone I can surely use your help. Thanks. I also installed a xenon retrofit kit from Bimmian. Maybe this is the problem? Please advise. Thanks guys.

Do you have OEM projector xenons or did you just add an HID kit to the stock halogen headlights?

I added the xenon kit to my headlights. The oem's were halogen H1 bulbs. I did the xenon kit install consistent with the instructions as well.

If you are having the problems described then you may have fried the LKM. I had all sorts of weird problems when my LKM was going out. It's a dealer item only as it needs to be programmed. Dealer should be able to pull the fault codes from the CLUSTER MEMORY. Make sure they know that. My dealer took a week because they were looking in the wrong place. Not a cheap piece of electronics to replace.

Thanks guys. What exactly is the LKM? And, do you know what the cost of replacement will be? I appreciate your help. Now that I've had the lights installed for a couple of days, it seems clear to me that it is NOT my halos, but the xenons, because I only have the problems described (including my doors unlocking and the hazards going off) when my lights come on. Again, if you could describe my issues for me in a little more detail, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Light Kontrol Module. Everything involved with the lights goes throught it. Sound like the non-OEM xenons have a high voltage leak. If you are lucky you will not have fried the LKM. ($600) Check your grounding for the light units.
PM if you need more.

Thanks Zulu. I forgot one thing in addition to the problem I already told you about. My Park Distance Control is "on the fritz" since I installed the lights as well. When on, it sounds a steady beep until it automatically shuts off. Essentially, it is always making a sound when on. Is this part of the same issue you were advising me on previously? Also, regarding your suggestion about the grounding for the lights, where would I find that. There are no wires running into, or out of, the lights that would allow me to ground the unit. Is there something I can do about this, or some suggestions you may have to alleviate this issue? Thanks again.
