Newbie Question

I just bought a 2002 4.4 Silve on Blacklove the car and I can't stop looking around for flaws as I am anal like that. I'm sure a lot of can chime but here are my three questions and thanks for your help!

question 1: car is park in the garage, no keys in the ignition, I noticed the light on "P" shifter. Is that normal does?

question 2: I bought the Peake Research ODB II scanner and came with two faults

0F 02 Sensor Fault
5d Evap System

Please shed some light.

Thanks!

1. agree with Wagner - normal

2. reset the codes with your tool. if there is a real fault then they will come back and you can begin to diagnose them. The first one may require the replacement of one of the oxygen sensors.

OK I ran it again and here's the exact code error

0F (Zero F) PreCat Oxygen Sensor or Ignition Secondary Monitor

5d (Five D) EVAP EMission Control System
