4.8 fender flares, running boards

I know BMW sells that aluminum running boards for after-market install on 4.4/3.0's, but anyone know if it's possible to get the flared wheel-well arches from the 4.8 also?

Do a search and you'll find plenty of info here. Many have done the alum running boards retrofit, including the wider fender flares on 4.6is or 4.8is. But to answer your question, yes, you can get the fender flares for the rear should you desire.
