A couple of newbe questions.
OK, I am sort of getting the hang of this car and all of it's gizmo's but I am stumped on a couple of thing's. First, when I start the car the AC automatically comes on. How do I stop this? Next, where is the micorfilter so I can check to see if it is still good?

Keep turning the AC off before you shut off the vehicle, it will eventually figure out your preference

The microfilter is under the hood in the passenger side firewall area.

Depends on the air quality/condition where you live, probably good to check every 25-30,000 miles.

Also note there are two different filters you can choose. One has activated carbon in it, the other cheaper one doesn't.
