Final Stage Resistor
Well, I finally did it. I have replace my final stage resistor. X has been in the stealer for a couple of times with the same issue (AC will turn off then turn back on again) So I decided to do this on my own. I thought it will be one of those pain in the ass work but I have to give the guys a lot of credits and kudos who put all the instructions in details and pictures. I almost beat the 1 hour work, but everything is back to normal again (hope so). Final Stage resistor cost me $ 114.39 + tax = $ 123.83 @ Pacific BMW (cute sales rep) Bing

Nice job. Feels good to DIY, huh. I just joined the FSR club too and it was too easy thanks to xoutpost.com.

I agree, easy fix and the forum pics were very helpful, though I wish it would have been noted that the resistor is laying horizontal.
I purchased my final stage resistor from http://www.autohausaz.com for $68.95 plus shipping. |
