Nav 4-1/30 Do I need an Update

I was checking my nav setting and wondered if I needed an update and if I did an update, what would be new or worth doing the update for.

I would update, that is a very old version.

Can I just update to the latest version or do I need to upgrade to a particular version then upgrade to the current version?

I believe you should be able to go straight to the newest version, but i'm sure someone who knows 100% will chime in.
