What can we retrofit from the '07s?

Anyone know if there's anything from the 07 goodies bag that might be reasonably retrofittable to our pre-07 X5s?
  • HUD?
  • Rear view camera?
  • Active stabilizers?
  • Laser cruise?
  • Comfort access?
  • AC seats?
I'd love to have all of these on my X!

I'm confident that all will be impossible to retrofit without statospheric $$$. Heck, even retrofitting heated seats or lumbar support is huge $$$. Same with those E90 owners who wished they could retrofit RTTI on their current Sat Nav.

Theres really nothing about the New X5 that I wish the current e53 could have. NOTHING!!!! e70 is OVERPRICED without any bang for your buck. Thats why I purchased a used CPO 04' 4.8i.s! Now thats BANG for your buck! I bought it for $50k with only 19k miles and had the dealership throw in the extended maintenance and aluminum running boards for FREE! Thats probably because its the 4th car I bought from them!!!! The dealership said they're really having a hard time moving the new X5. Just giving my 2 cents...

I would like the rear video screen mounted at the end of the center console.

I looked at the 07 when it came out thought it looked too much like an x3 so I traded in my 02 X5 and bought an 06 X5. I think the 07 is for the soccer mom that needs the third row seats. Only thing on 07 I wanted on my 06 was rear camera (but not butt ugly BMW one), just put one in myself.

See my musings in this link...
not sure why anyone would chase the
E70 wheels, but everyone has their own bag.
