what a great, useful and informative this website is!!!

Thanks to the people who provide such useful information in this website. Today, my front a/c vent stopped blowing any thing. I searched this site and lots of thread told me that it was the final stage regulator. Then I went to the parts shop and spent around US$45.00 for a brand new OEM regulator. Tonight, I followed the instruction in this website to replace the regulator, then everything backed to normal. The front vent of a/c were blowing cold air again after the regulator was replaced. So nice!!! Thanks to all!!!!

By the way, does anyone know how to lock the door without enable the alarm?

I have said this before but it is worth repeating. This site is the best X5 site out there bar none!
Some sites actually go for days without a post!!!
I'm not even going to get into the stupid rules and regulations some have.

Glad to know. There is lot of info that can be found just by searching the forums.

Not sure about lock door without alarm but you can disable motion alarm by pressing the lock button 2nd time(in case you have a dog in car).

As LeMans said above, or hit your central locking button,
lift driver door handle twice to get out, and then use
key to lock driver door. The two times hit is simpler.

It is The X Car site on the Planet...welcome to X World!

Also, if you open the sunroof, the interior motion will turn off. So your dog can get fresh air with out jumping out or setting off the alarm.
