Why? That plug job, (actually they are usually patched from the
inside), will last the life of the tire, in my experience. You do lose one potential speed rating level with a patch, but unless you are running at Bonneville this season, it's a moot point. I'd skip putting on the fresh spare and stick with the tire set up you have currently, imo. GL,mD
