tire question

A few months ago, I had one of my tires plugged, because I got a nail in it. I have driven a few thousand miles onit. I am getting my rbakes changed tomorrow, and wanted to switch out my spare, which is brand new, for the plugged tire. Will there be any problems, ie. alignment, steering problems, because of the thread difference? All the tires were changed last year, and have a few thousand miles on them. Thanks.

Why? That plug job, (actually they are usually patched from the
inside), will last the life of the tire, in my experience. You do lose
one potential speed rating level with a patch, but unless you are
running at Bonneville this season, it's a moot point.

I'd skip putting on the fresh spare and stick with the tire set up you
have currently, imo.
