Will the navi disc from a 2004 E60(545i) work on a MKII navi system?

nope. the mkii isn't made to read dvd discs

so if you updated your software to V.29 i was reading that it will work, from what it says on this page.

from my research, you can use the navcoder to install V29, and you'll have the same functions as the higher mks, it's just you cannot have a custom splash screen
