				X5 3.0 Redline 6500!

Just an intersting fact, based on recent BMW Magazine article and the Dinan Catalog. There seems to be no direct mention of it, but in the recent BMW Mag review of the new 330 engine it points to the 7000 RPM redline being 500 higher than the last engine the M54. Also the DINAN catalog shows RPM numbers to 6500. From looking at the Tach it does appear to have dashed redlines until 6500 where it turns into solid. I also think the tranny does upshift a few hundred less than the engine cutout of 6500. I would be interested if anyone can correct my assumption. Cheers, batman

Is there any prospect of the X5 3.0i having the higher bhp version of the 3 litre engine as per the 3 and 5 series?
