100k Tune-Up: Help Please

This is what I am going to order from Morristown

* Spark Plugs
* Spark Plug wires
* Air Filter
* Microfilter
* Fuel Filter

I know I should change my hoses. That is where I need help with the most. What should I order?

Anything else? Thanks

All fluids, including transmission, transfer case, differentials, brake, and coolant should be changed as well. I know that BMW has been flopping back and forth on the transmission fluid changes, but according to my 2004 manual, the transmission fluid should be changed out at 100K miles.

I never play with the transmission fluid on BMW - I did this once on a 1989 E30 and within 100 the transmission was junk. The dealer told me you are better off not replacing the fluid if you haven't done it every 25K miles since it was new..

There are no spark plug wires.
You really should do the water pump, thermostat housing and thermostast plus hoses and belts if they are orginal.
The sealed/life time tranny fluid story has been now been ammended to do a 100K change.
I had my own tranny fluid, transaxel front/rear diff changed recently. The tranny in the '01 3.0L is synth Dexron III as is the transfer case.

thanks for all the replies.

So I should ask for these additional parts:
-Radiator/coolant hoses (should be 2?)
-Belts (what do I specifically ask for?). I know there are 2 of them that should be replaced, but which 2?

Anything else that needs to be changed. I read something about a pulley.

Check the diagram/s on realoem.com. You should see everything you need there.
