I am back....kinda

Hey guys, I recently deserted you
http://www.xoutpost.com/x5-e53-forum/...y-goodbye.html

now I am kinda back

I think that I am going to get the e70 for my wife, alpine white as well, wish I could find more pics. Then next year add a M5 to the mix. When I got my first bmw I said I would not get anything else, but I did, and it was a mistake. hope the e70 rides smoother then my e53

and et rid of the hummer. althought it is pretty cool, and I get more compliments then I did on my x I absoulutley cannot take the gm quality(I touhgt I could), its crap an donly with 3k miles, its crap.

I am not one bit surprised by your disappointment in the Hummer. Were you having problems or is it just cheap materials and fit/finish that is bother you?

Anyway, the 335 is sweet. Welcome back!

the hummer was the first american car I ever bought, and although I new the quality was not the best, its worse then I thought. The fit and finish cheap materials, are jsut that. for a 60k vehicle I thought it would be a bit better, but after two months its just not happening. I think It would have been ok if I was always a gm or ford man before, but I wasnt.
I was also considering getting a vette z06, that is surley not going to happen now, I will gt the m5 instead. may not be as fast but I am sure a little slower will be worthe having bmw quality vs gm.

one main reason I got rid of the e53 was my wife didnt like the ride, and I wanted it to be her vehicle. I will probably have to go without the sport and without the 4.8 on the e70. unless the 4.8 e70 rides smother then the 4.8is 2004 I had

The sport does ride hard, my friend has the non sport and its a lot nicer to drive.

Same here , my wife drives the X and I have an M3, considering a 335 now as they are seriously fast..nice car.congrats

Nice color combo, I am also going to get a 4.8 E70 without the sport package because the roads around here are disgusting!! I would rather have comfort than the bumpy ride in my E53

in the hummer, average about 11.5 and that was with 35" mud tires, so that really is not to bad if you ask me, I averaged 15 in my 4.8is so not a huge difference.
