New member says hi and thanks!

Three months ago the automatic transmission of my trusty 1998 528i (which I purchased new) gave up at 170,000 miles. I sold that car to an employee and purchased a 2003 X5 4.4i with 34,000 miles on it.

Thanks to info found on this forum I have:
1. purchased the BMW maintenance program
2. tightened the screws that hold the lower rubber gasket at the bottom of the windshield and eliminated the wind leak sound.
3. hardwired my radar detector per the instructions on the home page
4. updated my navigation software

The X5 is my business daily driver and today was detail day!
Wash and shine day for the 997, too.
Enjoy the Pix and thanks again for the valuable information here.
