eisenmann exhaust with 4.8is OEM tips

i think i need to get my eisenmann tips chopped off and put the oem tips back on. the eisenmann just look riddiculously small compared to the OEM. look:

i cannot believe when i ordered the e xhaust i waited an extra 8 weeks to get the stamping and now im gonna cut it off. LOL. RETARDED!!!!!!

i do have a question, has anyone fitted the latest 4.8 tips onto an eisenmann? i never confirmed it, but are the 4.8 tips slighlty bigger than the 4.6? what do i have to check for before i order the new tips as far as fitment? thanks ya'll.

Which size tips are bigger the OEM 4.6 tips or the 4.8 tips?

I have ordered the 4.6 tips and they look pretty large....just wanted to know if the 4.8 were even larger than that.

Can you show us a pic further away??

I was thinking about getting that exhaust, however:
1) the price is insane
2) I was not sure if those tips were as wide as the 4.8's.

I think I am going to go with the OEM 4.8 exhaust on my 4.4 as someone else recently did on here. I also have the 4.8 rear valance I need to paint and put on once it arrives.

Looks like we need to ask some 4.8 and 4.6 members to measure their tips

lol

my 4.6 mufflers are in chicago.

i got the race exhaust built SPECIFICALLY with the dual extra large 84+mm tips.

look 'less' 4.6/8 but look better to me than being pieced/welded together, and beats cutting the OEM tips off and welding them (the welds rust here in the midwest)...
