5% tints

Whats up all, I plan on gettin some 5% tints on my black x5. Anyone have any pics, also, you guys thinks this is a little TOO dark, I mean, I love how it looks, very nice, Let me know, thanks a lot!!

DropTop got 5% tint on sides and back and 20% on the front. Check it out.

dude that is badass...love the red trim too...here's my black on black...only problem is that i took the pictures at dusk thinking it would be cool but they didn't come out the way i wanted.

also here is my 35% tint...

personally, i think 5% is too dark...at night i can't really see, sometimes i can't even see if they girls are hot or not...haha...and i'm serious, i have to roll down the window to chk them out and it's kinda embarrassing...i had 35% on my old car and i think it worked better...also, 5% tint gives a reflection on the inside such it can gives a glare. well, to each their own...

5% tint looks nice. But there are two draw-backs to it that you should consider.

1. Police hastling you.

2. Can't see shit at night. My brother has that on his new black on black 545i. But when ever I have to move his car or anything, I have to roll down his windows just to see the side view mirror...

What percentage is the stock privacy glass on the rear section?

Am based in the UK.. i dont think there is a legal requirement for percentage light on the rear glass! can anyone confirm?

Those pics taken by the merchandise mart? The building in the background looks like the one that curves with the river at that point.

5% is too dark in my opinion too. All my cars had 20% and that seemed to be a good balance of darkness and being able to "see the sights" at night.
